Mani oil

God Mani (Máni) oil was created on a Monday; it is to be used during astrology & herbalism study, to help you manage your time better, for creativity or stronger magical power during the night, for sea magic & spirits (especially, to do with tides, etc.), increasing financial abundance, protection of children, and ANY moon rituals/magic you may perform/cast.

Mani is attested in the Prose Edda, the Poetic Edda, and in Tacitus’s Germania. He is the god of the moon. It is from him we get our famous Man-in-the-Moon in English folklore.

One of Mani‘s roles is to help humankind to tell the time and date. He is not the moon itself, but rather its guide. The phases of the moon are said to represent his endless running and evading the wolf who chases him. Mani is invoked by modern Heathens as a protector of children.
